About Me

I did my undergrad studies in Computer Science and Engineering with a specialisation in Cyber Security from SRM Institute of Science & Technology in Chennai, India. I have a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Calgary, Canada where I worked in the area of Access Control, specifically Zero Trust Architectures, Policy Mining and Automated Policy Formulation under the supervision of Prof. Philip W.L. Fong. I am passionate about software development, particularly backend systems, and enjoy building reliable, scalable solutions. I am also deeply curious about cybersecurity and the broader challenges of designing systems that are both functional and resilient. I am especially drawn to hands-on roles that allow me to continuously learn, experiment, and grow within the ever-evolving landscape of computer science.

Outside of work, I thrive on staying active and exploring new challenges. I have a strong interest in skiing and am eager to pursue surfing and snowboarding. I play football, squash, badminton, basketball, tennis, table tennis, cricket, and snooker, and also enjoy running, cycling, hiking, and camping. Creativity is another important part of my life—I enjoy acting, playing the tabla, guitar, and ukulele, and I love to sing and write rap. I have released a couple of songs on streaming platforms—No Oxygen and Lovers On The Run—and I look forward to creating and producing more music in the future. Coming from a military background, I have had the opportunity to live in different parts of India, which has shaped my adaptability and perspective. Recently, I've developed a strong interest in traveling and hope to continue exploring new places, cultures, and experiences around the world.
